چکیده
We analyse the dynamics of relativistic bubble expansion during first order phase transition focusing on ultra velocities $\gamma\gg 1$. show that fields much heavier than scale can significantly contribute to friction and modify motion wall leading interesting phenomenological consequences. NLO effects due soft vector field emission are reviewed as well.

Bubble Wall Velocity in the MSSM
We compute the wall velocity in the MSSM with W , tops and stops contributing to the friction. In a wide range of parameters including those which fulfil the requirements of baryogenesis we find a wall velocity of order vw ≈ 10 −2 much below the SM value. 1 Bubble Wall Equation of Motion in the MSSM Energy conservation leads to the equations of motion of an electroweak bubble wall interacting w...
متن کاملBubble wall velocity in a first order electroweak phase transition.
We calculate the velocity and thickness of a bubble wall at the electroweak phase transition in the Minimal Standard Model. We model the wall with semiclassical equations of motion and show that friction arises from the deviation of massive particle populations from thermal equilibrium. We treat these with Boltzmann equations in a fluid approximation in the background of the wall. Our analysis ...
متن کاملOne-loop fluctuation-dissipation formula for bubble-wall velocity.
The limiting bubble wall velocity during a first-order electroweak phase transition is of interest in scenarios for electroweak baryogenesis. Khlebnikov has recently proposed an interesting method for computing this velocity based on the fluctuation-dissipation theorem. I demonstrate that at one-loop order this method is identical to simple, earlier techniques for computing the wall velocity ba...
متن کاملUltrasoft Effects in Heavy-Quarkonium Physics
In the framework of nonrelativistic QCD, we consider a new class of radiative corrections, which are generated at next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order through the chromoelectric dipole interaction of heavy quarkonium with ultrasoft virtual gluons. We provide analytical formulae from which the resulting shifts in the quarkonium energy levels and the wave functions at the origin may be calculate...
متن کاملVelocity of Electroweak Bubble Walls
We study the velocity of bubble walls in the electroweak phase transition. For several extensions of the Standard Model, we estimate the friction and calculate the wall velocity, taking into account the hydrodynamics. We find that deflagrations are generally more likely than detonations. Nevertheless, for models with extra bosons, which give a strongly first-order phase transition, the deflagra...
